Description
Lowell Observatory is one of the nation’s premier research and educational institutions. It’s also home of the Discovery Channel Telescope, which is nearing completion and will “push the frontier of knowledge and bring the marvels of the cosmos to millions.”
Our objectives for this project were to not only engage Lowell’s existing members but also to reach out to new members — new and old — with updates on research and programs. The site will continue to grow as an educational resource for both astronomers and lay people.
